About Silk Chiffon

Chiffon comes from the transliteration of the French chiffon, meaning light and transparent fabric. Chiffon and georgette belong to the joe category, but joe is divided into two types: twisted fabric (silk chiffon) and untwisted fabric (silk chiffon).

Chiffon is transparent, soft and elegant. It is made of 100% mulberry silk. It has good texture, cool and breathable. It is a very good material silk fabrics, using it to make clothing is very good for human skin.

Having many advantages, silk chiffon also has its shortcomings. These aspects can not catch up with the imitation silk chiffon, for example: after washing, it is easy to get grey and light, and cannot be exposed to the sun (it will become yellow). It is troublesome to take care of (it needs hand washing), and has poor firmness (easy to stretch the yarn and easy to sew the place rip apart).
